With the improvement of production technology and the perfection of pharmacy equipment, the pharmaceutical raw material industry has developed rapidly to make China one of the largest producing nations in the world. 90% of the pharmaceutical raw materials of China are mainly exported to the international market, and China has become the most important export country which influences the pattern of world pharmaceutical raw materials market.
        China International Pharmaceutical Raw Materials and Intermediate Exhibition (PRE for short) which is held annually, is a large event in pharmaceutical raw material industry. With 3 years of the development, PRE has increased its scale and influence, and established its leading position. PRE shows the latest technologies and products of pharmaceutical raw material, intermediate, natural extract, packaging equipment etc, and the latest fruit in the research and development of pharmaceutical raw materials. Exhibitors are from tens of countries such as China, America, Germany, UK, Japan, Korea etc.
        The 4^th China International Pharmaceutical Raw Materials and Intermediate Exhibition will be held at China International Exhibition Center from 15-17 March, 2009 to further the development of pharmaceutical raw material industry, promote the communication and cooperation between domestic pharmaceutical raw material manufacturers and foreign pharmacy enterprises, broaden marketing channel, save the cost of export. The exhibition space is expected to reach 20,000 square meters. PRE 2009 will invite visitors from pharmacy enterprises, food enterprises, research institutes and colleges and international vendees to promote accelerate the import & export trading and development of pharmaceutical raw material industry of China. Raw Materials Export and Development Forum, new technology issue and technology exchange meeting etc will be held concurrently.
